Restorative Dental Care
In order to chew our food comfortably and efficiently we need to have properly functioning TMJs (jaw joints) and muscles that open and close our mouths. We also need strong, healthy teeth positioned in healthy periodontal (gum) tissue and jaw bone. Restorative dental care is that part of dentistry that treats teeth that are decayed, fractured or worn, and the replacement of missing teeth.
A properly functioning mouth is essential in maintaining general health, and is an important aspect of maintaining healthy teeth. In addition, restorative care also creates and maintains beautiful teeth.
